Gary Olson was installed as President of the Pikes Peak Chapter, Barbershop Harmony Society dba the America the Beautiful Chorus. The swearing in took place at the chapter’s annual Officer’s Installation Banquet on Wednesday, February 9th.
Gary was most recently the chapter treasurer a position he filled for 7 years. Gary was presented with his official certificate by Chapter Secretary, Neil Ridenour.
Following the recognition of the new President, the remaining members of the board of directors were officially installed by one of the chapter’s over 50 year barbershoppers, Paul Huff. The members of the board who were present for the installation are: Neil Ridenour, Secretary; Phill Goodman, VP Membership; John Chase, VP Music & Performance; Gary Hickenlooper, Memer at Large; Lynn Porsch, Member at Large; and Larry McCollum, VP Marketing & PR.
